Better Firebird
This disc as well as a few others are finally completing my Mint disc bag and OTB helped tremendously with my goals!
I love me some Mint discs and the Phoenix does not disappoint, it’s a beautiful disc to look at and the quality is clear when you put your grip on it, just grippy enough w no sharp mold edges and smoooooth like a good Bourbon. The flight is predictable overstable w a quick fade but finished fairly flat compared to the Discmania Splice that will take a hard dive and stand on its side down to the ground. If you know the Dynamic Discs Felon the Phoenix has a touch less glide and will snap back harder on a turnover flight. I will definitely keep this in my bag for shorter forehand upshot’s and forehand drives as well as longer turnover backhand and monster hyzer drives, keep the good stuff coming Mint I’m a fan!
