DX XD – The XD is a great disc that has been around for a long time. It has a very low profile and is a disc that can be thrown by all skill levels. Innova says this about the mold: “The XD has a low profile, thin rim which promotes a secure grip and an easy, natural release. These features combined with straight flight characteristics make the XD an easy to throw and control disc. Classic XD
The thin profile is preferable for my putting grip (fan grip no index on rim). Unfortunately the disc and the plastic mold I prefer have both been discontinued but the DX still flies similarly to the old softer plastic mold I have in my bag.
