(11 customer reviews)

Discmania Link – The newest addition to the Discmania lineup (August 2019) and the 4rd disc (3rd stock release) in their partnership with Latitude 64. This is the first putter from that partnership and has a very comfortable feel with a big bead. The Discmania Link is set to be a very straight flying putter with a slight fade finish. This mold should fit very well in the Discmania lineup, especially for those who prefer a beaded feel, as the P2 is a beadless disc and the most popular putter in their arsenal.

Another winner from the new evolution line. Really compliments the stability of the Method and Instinct with a nice finish. Tacky material, this disc finds chains from either a well controlled push putt or the snappiest of spin putts. Would certainly recommend for both main putters or smooth drives from the tee.

A Discmania wizard is finally here and it’s awesome!

  3. Zach (verified owner)

Very similar flight to the P2 but with more glide. The bead is bigger than expected, but still didn’t bother me in throwing.

  4. Ryan (verified owner)

These babies are great! the plastic feels really cool. The more I have used it, the feel continues to get better. Putter is very similar to P2 in performance only more shallow which is what makes it perfect. Feels so good for throwing and flies great. Either plastic is really nice for putting, the plastic has good grab on the chains. Was only testing these out and now they have replaced my P2s for both driving and putting.

  5. Jonathan (verified owner)

My new favorite throwing putter. Holds any line you put it on even in headwind and the soft plastic prevents skips on landing.

  6. Tyler (verified owner)

Very easy to control throwing putter. Buying more soon.

  7. Michael H. (verified owner)

Best throwing putter I’ve ever had! Great disc!

  8. Ryan (verified owner)

    Zang!

  9. Anonymous (verified owner)

Good circle one putter. It is a bit under stable off the tee for me. Amazing feel to this exo soft plastic.

  10. Alfred (verified owner)

Had to try it out. The Link is a super straight putting putter. Idk if I will keep putting with it. Might be my jump putter. Has tons of glide. I just prefer a more OS putter.

  11. Dean Nuce (verified owner)

So far so good, feels great in my hand. My favorite putter for sure

Here is what Discmania has to say about the Link

“The most important disc in your disc golf bag is your putter. It doesn’t matter how great you can drive if you can’t close out a hole with confidence. The new Discmania Evolution Exo Link putter is exactly that type of disc. We’ve heard the thoughts of Discmaniacs around the world and created a putter unlike anything we’ve released in the past.

The fourth disc in the Discmania Evolution line is the connection between you and lower scores on the disc golf course.

The Discmania P2 has been one of the most popular putters in disc golf. Many members of Team Discmania select it for their go-to putter in the circle and off the tee. It can be said that it’s one of the greatest beadless putters ever made.

We’ve taken what we’ve learned from the P2 and tweaked it to produce the Link, the next great beaded putter in disc golf.

FEEL AND FLIGHT OF THE LINK

The Link comes in a little shallower then the P2 and with a bead. These are two features that we’ve heard quite often from fans of the P2. The Link provides both in a single package. It fits very comfortably in the hand and provides a flight for beginners and pros alike.

The Link comes in two plastics: Soft Exo and Hard Exo. Soft Exo will have a little more give on the flight plate which allows you to really dig into the putter. A nice combination of comfort and grip. Hard Exo on the other hand will hold it’s shape, but still has a soft velvet like feel to the plastic. If you like a little extra pop off the fingers, Hard Exo is the choice for you.

In the circle, the Link has a nice stable flight. It can handle spin, but won’t get away from you. The glide is there, but it won’t sail away on you. You can really aim right for the heart of the chains and have confidence the Link will travel on the line you release it on.

As a thrower, the Link will have a very straight flight with a predictable fade at the end. It isn’t overly strong, but it will finish with a little movement instead of just settling down on it’s own. If you need a little hyzer or anhyzer, it will react to anything you give it. Control will be quite high with the Link. Have confidence in the Link and it will reward you.”
