400 D3 Max – The D3 Max is an absolute bomber! With a fast, sleek feel and a wide rim, this is a disc that can be used for pure distance. it gets plenty of turn for max distance but has enough stability to trust at high speeds. Newer players will find this to be a reliable, slightly overstable distance driver while more experienced players can use this for hyzer flip bombs. The 400 plastic has tons of durability so you can keep it your bag for a long time. Grab a Prodigy 400 D3 Max and take your distance game to a new level.

Prodigy says this about the mold: “The Prodigy D3 Max is a very fast, stable distance driver designed for players of all skill levels, destined to be one of our furthest flying distance drivers yet. It has a slightly shallower rim and smoother top than the D3, making it faster and giving it more glide. Experienced players will be able to pick an angle of release for the D3 Max to hold, flying like a perfectly seasoned driver right off the shelf. It has a smooth ride to the right and a soft finish, which will also appeal to beginners looking for a forgiving maximum distance driver. The D3 Max will be produced alongside the D3, giving all players an option for long, booming drives.”

  1. I’m not one to sling hate but you need to know. This is not a winner. As others have mentioned, the inside shoulder is shallow and feels weird. Deep enough to get a grip but different. Flashing is aggressive. But also flies like a 0 3 disc. I’m normally around 400 feet of D and this thing flies like a 0 3. Very flat.

  2. Much flatter than a normal D3 with a shallower rim. Flight is similar to the D3 with a bit more distance, maybe a touch more stable.

  3. One of the best easy distance drivers on the market.

  4. The flight is fine, but the inner rim has a strange depth and feel to it.

  5. Great disc. Great feel. Dependable consistent flyer.

  6. Works perfectly for a straight to flippy driver.

  7. Great disc, although the flashing was pretty harsh on two different discs I got. Also some minor dips in the flight plate. Very sharp edges, doesn’t affect back hand throws, but forehanding these would be hard without sanding. Flies very true to its proposed flight numbers, gets great distance, but they do not like to be thrown nose up.

  8. Nice disc, will probably stay in the bag for a while

  9. I like this disc a lot more than the D3, I can mash on this for distance. Starting to like Prodigy a lot more. OTB did great as always.

  10. Was in search of something similar to a Valkyrie, but longer. This isn’t it, but good lord do I love this disc. Too new for my noodle arm to hyzer flip just yet, but when thrown flat (with maybe a touch of anny) this bad mammajamma HOOOOLLDDS the line with a reliable fade at the end. I can normally get my valk out to about 370ish, but I’m getting consistent 400+ with this. 400g plastic feels amazing too
