Calvin Heimburg Destroyer – Swirly Star 2020
Heimburg Destroyer – The Destroyer is one of the best distance drivers the game has ever seen, and now they are prettier looking than ever. The 2020 Heimburg Destroyer came out in some gorgeous looking swirls. This first batch all seem to have a decent amount of dome and some stiffness to them. The second batch (late July) is not quite as domey but still on the domey side. The Destroyer is the most storied mold in the entire game, almost every Innova pro has at least one in their bag. Calvin Heimburg has really turned up his game the last few years and you can watch him bomb them all over the course. If you have been looking for a swirly Destroyer that is stiff and domey?Then this run is for you, this run seems like it will be an overstable run of the mold that people will fall in love with.
Innova says this about the run: “Calvin is known for his massive power and accuracy with the Star Destroyer. He wanted to increase the dome for 2020 and now his Destroyer has a nice pop-top. These discs are a mix of bright/contrasting colors. A substantial portion of each sale will benefit Calvin and his touring efforts.”

Beautiful stamp, nice tacky star plastic
Great disc, thinner rim than the Zeus (ESP) and slightly more understable. Overall very similar to the Zeus.
Just as pictured and described. Nice distance with a little over stable finish right out of the box, but expect that to soften as it breaks in.

Either way, you’re getting the same great plastic in a mold that … let’s just say … is similar enough that you might not notice the difference. Bonus fun for leaving them in the sun!
