Beech – Overstable mids are one of the easiest discs to trust and rely on. Being able to attack the green without fear of going long can save your mind from overthinking on the course. The Beech is AGL’s overstable mid that has a unique double bead. This is a disc that can handle power and headwinds without fear of flipping, it will hyzer reliably everytime. Make sure you grab an AGL Beech today.
AGL says this about the mold: “The AGL Discs Beech is an overstable midrange disc with a double bead on it. It’s also got a very unique angle from the flight plate down to the edge of the disc, allowing you amazing grip when throwing it both forehand and backhand. With the flight numbers of 5/4/0/3 the Beech can definitely handle the power on those flex forehand shots, while still being a reliable overstable backhand mid. Some have called the Beech “the distance Bab”. Although it doesn’t have as much glide as our other mid-range, it can if one is found with a little dome. Most of the Woodland models came out pretty flat, while the Alpine can have a little dome to them. We are very excited to bring to market a new mold that can be a great compliment to our current lineup. Enjoy that Beech life at AGL Discs!”

I’ve recently fallen in love with Gateway’s mids and have begun to explore Gateway-adjacent offerings. The Beech does it’s job as a low-glide, very overstable mid. It competes with my Warrior and Gila for space in my bag.
The beech is a great overstable disc if you like throwing hard for short shots. The woodland version will beat in faster if you want a less stable version
