Apex Freetail
Apex Freetail – Mint Discs is back at again and this time with the Freetail! This disc is a control driver that is understable and easy to use for all players. When thrown flat it will give you a great anhyzer flight and a ton of glide. For power players this will be a great roller disc, throw it hard and flat and watch it get to the ground and stand up for a beautiful roller angle. Also great for big high turnovers that get a ton of glide and hold the angle easily. If you need a new flippy hybrid driver then Mint Discs has the perfect offering for you!
Here is what Mint has to say about the mold: “Our 2nd driver is named after the Mexican Free-tailed Bat that is native to our home city of Austin, Texas. The Freetail is a driver that wants you to control it, not power it like the Alpha. Give it an easy flat spin for the best turnover your life, or if you have a bit more power make sure to put a little hyzer on it for a buttery flip up line.”

Great flyer
All super good stuff as usual my dudes.
The Apex Plastic is great, and not too soft. I’m a newer player, but can still flip this one fairly easy. Very predictable and reliable flight pattern.
Great understable fairway for hyzer flips without too much power.
Great disc, with a comfortable grip. In tailwind, this disc will flip up to flat and push forward. In a headwind, this disc will dump to the right.
I purchased this disc for a hyzer flip roller, only gave it four stars because I felt the flight numbers were not accurate. The Lone Star discs Tumbleweed was the answer.
For reference, I throw 350-380.
Not as under stable as the -4 suggests out of the box, but getting some great flights

Great disc! Love the feel of the Apex plastic in my hand. Got this disc to add another ‘high’ speed driver to my arsenal. I’ve got a lower-power arm and this disc works well for me. Especially great (RHBH) for anhyzers.
I’ve never received a disc from you that I didn’t love. The transparency is always clear, especially being the pioneers of having pictures of each disc. Big ❤️
