Electron Matrix
$12.99
Matrix – This mold is one of the most popular molds in the MVP lineup. It is a straight midrange that gets a little bit of flip but it is mostly a point and shoot disc. It holds any lines there are and is pretty perfect midrange. It has a money feel and a really flat top. Sure to be one of the best discs in their lineup going forward. With their revamped midrange line coming, we will see where the Matrix ends up in the lineup. Available in a few different plastics so you can find one you enjoy.
Here is what MVP says about the mold: “The Matrix is designed to resist turnover for all power levels and situations, and its stability is best described as a longer Axiom Envy. Matrix should have a long straight travel for most throwers, followed by a dependable fade. While this is not a “meathook” style overstable midrange, its utility is not to be underestimated. Release angles make all the difference with this type of midrange, yielding useful flights on releases from anhyzer to flat and hyzer.”

Better than the hex. Mic drop
Nice disc but it beats in VERY quickly. I keep a proton and electron matrix in the bag to compliment each other.
Straight flyer. Looking forward to breaking it in
feels good in the hand and flies straight but is only good for open areas. first time out i folded it on a wooded course. the electron plastic is great for putting and feels good but cannot take damage
Like a flatter Roc, liking it a lot so far.
I was surprised by the how similar the stability of the electron plastic is compared to mvp’s premium plastics when new. The electron will beat in much more quickly, but that offers new flight characteristics to fill a different slot in the bag.
I don’t use this as much as I thought I would.
Wanted to try this disc out against the hex and reactor since MVP has little mid range selection in base plastic for cycling. Seems a bit slower than a reactor with flight similarities to a hex. Hoping after tree hits this becomes workable for cycling.
