Proton Matrix – This mold is one of the most popular molds in the MVP lineup. It is a straight midrange that gets a little bit of flip but it is mostly a point and shoot disc. It holds any lines there are and is pretty perfect midrange. It has a money feel and a really flat top. Sure to be one of the best discs in their lineup going forward. With their revamped midrange line coming, we will see where the Matrix ends up in the lineup. Available in a few different plastics so you can find one you enjoy.
Here is what MVP says about the mold: “The Matrix is designed to resist turnover for all power levels and situations, and its stability is best described as a longer Axiom Envy. Matrix should have a long straight travel for most throwers, followed by a dependable fade. While this is not a “meathook” style overstable midrange, its utility is not to be underestimated. Release angles make all the difference with this type of midrange, yielding useful flights on releases from anhyzer to flat and hyzer.”

Torque resistant, my favorite mid

Great disc. Slightly turns and then fades as I expected
Pretty overstable for me, and very predictable. Beautiful plastic, too!

Flies like a more stable hex with a tad less glide
Basically the same stability as neutron
Very happy with this disc. It’s flat and handles power and headwinds well. More stable than a buzzz for reference.
I got this to because I wanted a more stable reactor, and it is exactly what I wanted!
