Ethereal Animus – Thought Space Athletics has come onto the scene with great artwork and even better discs. This mold, the Animus is a great feeling distance driver that isn’t too fast. It is an 10.5 speed disc that gets a touch of flip before a long straight flight and a consistent fade at the end of the flight. This is a disc that can be absolutely crushed and will get a long s flight out of it. It has enough high speed stability to hold up to big forehands and power backhands. Make no mistake though, players of all skill levels will find a use for this disc. It can be used by slower arms and bigger arms alike. It is an extremely versatile disc that players will fall in love with. The Ethereal plastic has a great shimmery look to it and a comfortable feel, the plastic is durable and grippy making it perfect for cycling in your bag.. The perfect disc

TSA also surprised me with this one, I retained control of the disc for precision drives during a 41 degree heavy rainstorm. Despite not being able to judge grip and power correctly, the Animus did what I needed it to do, with good rigidity. Some people like softer plastics in colder temperatures, but the Ethereal plastic provided a stable index point so I could point the disc without having any idea what my fingers were doing. A good wrist snap was all this disc needed for precise 250-270ft drives through the woods in gusts and rain.
Now the disc numbers aren’t correct to my arm or other discs, so I will drop some flight numbers here for a 175gr disc at different speeds;
9 – 4 – 0 – 2.75
10 – 4.5 (-0.5) – 2.5
11- 4.75 (-1) – 2.0
A great flick disc for me, and the stamp is great.
This disc is pretty true to numbers. Similar to a faster thunder bird. Maybe a touch of high speed turn when you rip on it but good fade at end
Flies true to its flight numbers! Whether thrown backhanded or forehand, you can rip on this disc knowing it’ll have a consistent fade back.
