Big Z Malta – Paul McBeth has come out with several discs over the last few years and one of the best is the Malta. The Malta is a slightly overstable midrange that is perfect for a ton of shots. It was only available in the ESP plastic for a long time but now you can get it in the amazing Big Z plastic. The Big Z Malta is a great feeling disc and the plastic is some of the most loved Discraft plastic in production. This should be a disc that is loved by many, especially players that love the midrange game. Grab a Big Z Malta today and take control of your approach game.
Discraft says this about the mold: “The first midrange in the Paul Mcbeth line up, the Malta! The Malta is the 4th disc in Paul’s line, bringing an overstable midrange into the mix. The Malta has a low profile and pronounced bead for clean releases and consistently stable flights. The Malta’s name continues the greek mythology theme of the PM line derived from the greek word for Honey, which is fitting for this sweet disc!”

Very stable and will not turn over
Excellent overstable midrange. Exactly what I was looking for.
Great flight. Overstable while not needing super big arms.
Needed a replacement for one I lost. So great.
Loves going to the left.
Excellent compliment to the Buzzz
Very unique disc. Extremely small diameter for a 5 speed. Similar to a Roc3 in profile. Newer runs are more OS, but still not a positive turn, not utility OS like a Justice. I’d put the numbers around 5.5 4 0 3.5, that small diameter gives it some zip and it’s def got a harder fade than most mids you’ll throw. I’d give it a shot if I were you, hard to define where it fits in a bag but it may be what you’ve been looking for.
Love it, flies more overstable than the ESP for me but goes just as far, great glude and grip
Good quality and a good disc, but far from the stability that flight numbers indicates. Lot less stable than Buzzz OS. Flies more like a Buzzz. Might bag it as a straight midrange and keep Buzzz OS as an overstable mideange. Even my used 1st run OS is still more stable than this Malta.
Looks great and flies true to the numbers
