Alpas – If you are a fan of gummy putters or approach discs then the Alpas is perfect for you. It is a low profile putter that comes in some amazing plastic. The StayPut plastic is amazing feeling and will make sure the disc stays put around the green. It is perfect for catch, for kids, and all those tricky approaches around the green that need to stay put. Add some fun to your game with the Divergent Discs Alpas!
Divergent says this about the mold: “The Alpas by Divergent Discs is a very unique putt and approach disc made in flexible silicone rubber material that Divergent calls StayPut. The disc will more successfully “Stay Put” when it hits the ground, lessening the skips and slides. It can be used as an understable approach disc to get through tight fairways without needing to throw hard, or it can be used as a putter for players who like a shallow rim and a flat disc profile. It is a great choice as an all-around starter disc for new players, or as a specialty disc for experienced players. The disc colors will vary and many discs have multiple colors blended together for even more aesthetic appeal.”

My wife loves these putters. For the most part, they do not roll away if you hit the basket or frame on a putt. So if you have a problem with roll aways, you might want to give this disc a try.
I actually bought this for my wife, who absolutely loves this disc. Main reason that she likes it is because it very rarely rolls away from the basket on missed putts even if it hits the cage. If definitely has a different feel to it as opposed to a more traditional putter such as the Aviar, but if you have a lot of issues with roll aways, you might want to check this one out.
As advertised! The right silicone mirror allowing true flexibility and bendiness!
Be ready for a very floppy disc
I love these things! Super understable at speed, super overstable when slow. That means with Mid-Range thrown power, a 45 degree (or steeper) hyzer release gets me a perfectly repeatable S-Curve that goes sharply Left, Right, then Left again as it finishes. Is that useful? Situationally yes. Is it fun? HUCK YEAH! Add to that the fact that these rubbery discs just die when they hit the ground (or a tree), and you have a very good utility disc for challenging courses that are steep and/or wooded.
i picked this up for my son, but think I’ll get one for myself soon. great feel.
Great for those sketchy potential rollers. Need a disc to stay put, this is for you
