K1 Gote

K1 Gote – A large diameter midrange from Kastaplast, that is slower than the Kaxe and more controllable. The Gote is the newest disc from Kastaplast and it looks to be a workhorse mid that will be bagged by many pros. It will be super straight with some fade and a lot of glide. Charlie Goodpasture picked the Gote as his Tour Support Series disc this year. You will find him throwing it on anything midrange distance and in. If you want to stay around the green with a beadless mid then this mid from Kastaplast is exactly what you need. Available in several plastics, you might find yourself bagging several of these. We did a really nice accent on our Youtube and we are not sure where its from but it is definitely accurate. Kastaplast is Swedish though, so it may have been an attempt at being a Swede. We really enjoyed the flight of these though and figure they could be a really useful disc. Row Row almost aced with it on his last through of the day and got really juiced! They stand a bit and get tons of forward glide. It is a money disc all the way around. Grab a K1 Gote today!
Kastaplast says thois about the mold: “POINT AND SHOOT. WITH ENOUGH HIGH-SPEED STABILITY, LOTS OF GLIDE AND A GENTLE FADE, THE GÖTE HOLDS THE LINE ON BOTH DRIVES AND TOUCH SHOTS. This large diameter midrange disc is slower than our Kaxe midrange driver and more workable on shorter holes and when powered down. Göte is an old Norse first name, meaning a person from Götaland (Southern Sweden). Pronounced [jøːtə] in Swedish, but it’s better known as “the Goat” elsewhere. Suitable for: Any line (straight, hyzer or anhyzer), touch shots, 1-disc rounds.”

More domey than my liking but great plastic
Solid disc but feels a tiny bit clunky in the hand
Neutral to understable flying mid range, has quite a bit of glide, feels good in the hand and the plastic is very nice
Great disc, goes straight and drops straight
Perfect
New favorite midrange.
Gote is goat
Not quite as stable as the flight numbers would suggest. It will get some turn, especially if you muscle it. But when thrown with touch, this disc flies straight with so much glide as it fades. I could see this complementing the Svea really well, because they are quite similar in feel, but the Svea has significantly more turn.
Lots of glide
Quick shipping love the disc
