OTB’s Top 100 Discs of 2025

It’s time to dig into the data from OTB’s 2025 sales. Every year, this list gives us a fascinating look at what players are actually throwing – which newcomers shook up the market, which staples held strong, and which molds made big moves year over year.

Let’s break it down.

Brand Performance in 2025

In 2024, Axiom was our top-selling brand, edging out every other manufacturer – including MVP’s original line. That made last year’s results especially impressive.

In 2025, Discraft took the top spot.

Axiom once again finished ahead of MVP on its own, and when you combine MVP, Axiom, and Streamline together, the Gyro family still clearly leads the pack overall. Innova followed closely behind MVP, with Discmania, Streamline, Latitude 64, Kastaplast, Prodigy, and Thought Space Athletics rounding out the top ten brands of the year.

With that context, let’s get into the individual molds.

#1 Overall: The Trail

The Trail topped the charts in 2025.

Massive runs like the SE Fission Trail (our highest-selling single product of the year) and the Halloween Proton Trail drove huge demand, while even the stock Neutron Trail landed inside the top five individual products sold.

If you’ve read our newsletters this year, you’ve seen us talk about the Trail’s flight – and the numbers back it up.

Discraft Claims the Podium

Discraft followed up with the Luna and the Buzzz in the #2 and #3 spots.

Both molds remain absolute juggernauts, bolstered in 2025 by major releases. The Luna Battle Packs took off with the introduction of the UltraLuna, the gamified blind-rip format, and continued support from Paul McBeth and Anthony Barela.

Meanwhile, the BuzzzSaw Fuzed Line debuted to immediate demand that outpaced production early in the year, cementing the Buzzz’s place as one of the most trusted mids in the game.

Axiom Dominates the Top 10

Axiom went on an absolute heater in 2025.

The Tempo, Hex, Pixel, Proxy, Crave, and Envy all landed in the top ten, with Streamline’s Range as the lone non-Axiom entry in that group. That’s a remarkable showing for the MVP family.

Key releases helped fuel this run:

Familiar Faces and New Breakouts (Top 11–30)

Moving into the next tier, we see trusted standbys like the Zone, Destroyer, Wave, Wraith, and Aviar holding strong.

We also welcome a standout newcomer: the Cigarra. Developed in collaboration with Anthony Barela, this fairway driver quickly earned its place thanks to several late-year drops and has become a strong addition to Discraft’s lineup.

Another notable new entry is the Simon Line Balance, adding a reliable, slightly overstable midrange option to the MVP/Axiom ecosystem.

Putters, Approaches, and Midrange Movement (31–40)

Further down the list, new additions continue to make waves.

The Zone SS emerged as a popular complement to the Zone and Zone OS, showing quick adoption despite arriving later in the year.

Discmania’s P2x – the brand’s most popular mold for us in 2025 – gained traction as Gannon Buhr’s primary putting putter.

Anthony Barela also made an impact here with the Focus, which saw a major jump after he adopted the CT Swirl Focus as his main putter. That momentum eventually led to a Ricky Wysocki–inspired approach version after early putting prototypes didn’t quite stick.

Mainstays Fill Out the List

In the 30s and beyond, we see plenty of familiar favorites.

Latitude 64’s Pure once again stands as their most popular mold for both 2024 and 2025. Prodigy’s PA-3 mirrors that consistency, remaining their top seller across both years.

This stretch is packed with long-time staples like the DD3, Mamba, Tesla, and Raptor – discs that continue to earn their place in players’ bags year after year.

Closing Out the Top 50

As we near the top 50, a few more standouts emerge.

Kastaplast’s Berg (#40) remains unmatched as their flagship mold, with the Reko (#73) and Berg X (#78) also making the Top 100.

Other newer entries include Discraft’s Malita (#41) and Innova’s Fox (#48), both slightly understable midranges that quickly found fans – including here at the shop.

Year-Over-Year Movement

Looking back at 2024, it’s interesting to see how things shifted.

Last year’s top five – Pixel, Envy, Hex, Crave, and Tempo – all slid slightly to land in the ~6–10 range in 2025. Meanwhile, the Trail climbed from #7 to #1, and both the Luna and Buzzz jumped from #13 and #14 to #2 and #3, respectively.

What This List Really Shows

While new discs break out every year, much of this list feels comfortably familiar.

You expect to see Firebirds, TeeBirds, and Terns. You expect Insanity, Tesla, and NomadNuke, Raptor, and Passion. Every brand has its mainstays – molds that would feel shocking not to see represented.

What changes is where they land.
