Jim Oates Smash Mouth XT Classic Glow Nova – This disc is one of a few Innova discs to feature the overmold (2 different plastics molded together, one over the other). The XT plastic on the outside rim gives it a very grippy feel in the hand and also grabs very well on the ground. The Pro plastic in the middle gives it a nice stiff feel and a smooth top to ensure a good release. The Nova is incredibly straight! It literally holds any angle you put it on. It is known to be a great disc to learn backhand form. If you throw it dead flat with perfect spin it will go dead straight. It is great to for short approaches that you don’t what to go very far when it hits the ground first.
