Lab Second Proton Resistor – A slow, overstable fairway that is a perfect compliment to the faster Motion, Fireball, or Flare. The Resistor is a great feeling disc that can be ripped on both backhand and forehand without the fear of the distance of a faster disc. If you are looking for an overstable disc to slot between the Deflector and Motion then grab yourself a Lab Second Proton Resistor from MVP Discs.
MVP says this about the mold: “The Resistor is part of a new slower family of fairway drivers with a more controllable speed. The combination of its flat overstable profile and GYRO® technology allows it to resist turn and experience a strong reliable fade.”

Light weight and overstate bite!
I bought a 166g resistor thinking that might give me a slightly more mellow flight. Nope. This thing is board flat and wants to start fading very early in the flight. I throw neutral stability fairway drivers on forehand about 300ft, but the only way I was getting this 300ft was playing after an ice storm and getting close to a 150 ft skip. Probably more of a utility disc for me at this point, but as I increase my arm speed and the disc wears in I could see myself being able to work the disc better and get it straighten out longer.
Picked up this L2 as a second disc to my Proton Resistor SE. The Proton Resistor has been my favorite OS fairway driver I’ve thrown. My L2 is a beautiful orange, I see no difference between my L2 and SE in the way they fly.
