Star RocX3

RocX3 – There have been many variations of the Innova Roc and this is one of the newest iterations. The Innova RocX3 is one of the best straight to overstable midranges on the market and has a similar feel to both the Roc and Roc3. This mold can handle power a lot better than any previous variation and will hyzer at the end a lot harder. The Innova RocX3 has a much more blunt edge than other Roc variations, making it a little slower and adding the added stability and torque resistance. If you are someone that likes a similar feel with different flights, the RocX3 is perfect for cycling and is offered in a few plastics, and it pairs great with other Rocs. The Innova Roc continues to expand its status in disc golf.
Here is what Innova has to say about the mold: “Thirty years after we first launched the Roc, we introduce our most torque-resistant version yet, the RocX3. We’ve given our legendary disc a low profile and a hefty rim to create extra control, making it the ideal Mid-Range for windy conditions and forehand throws. Power players will love the control. X-Factor fueled, the evolution continues. RocX3.

Perfectly flat meat hook. Just what I wanted!
my go to stable mid range for forced flex shots and strong fades
This is the perfect stable disc to fit in between a Latitude 64 Trust and the Innova Toro. Comfortable rim, straight and predictable flight, seems to fight wind. This one stays in the bag!
I purchased a 177gr orange/yellow swirl star RocX3 from the physical location along with a Henna Roc3. At first I did not like the x3. It was harder to get the distance and was kind of floppy. Now I have used in on specific holes and can’t imagine not having it. It gets me that extra distance I can’t get from the Harp and it is as overstable as a Firebird.
I get a lot of wobble and flip with forehand shots though. I was hoping this disc would be great for my forehand since other rocs aren’t. I can forehand a zone, drone, or harp beautifully, but struggle with Rocs and the x3 is no exception. Overall it is a solid utility disc.

Very reliable over stable mid range with that nice roc shape.
As advertised … looked even better than the otb picture !!
Exactly what I expected.
Great for long straight shots
Exactly what I asked for; ordered this as a replacement for my first ace disc that I put up on the wall. OTB has best in its name for a reason!
