Lucid Sergeant –Â Disc golf is all about straddling that fine line between being risky and being safe. If you need a driver that has both the control for those safe shots but the distance for some of the riskier shots, the Lucid Sergeant is the perfect disc to fill that slot. Is an 11 speed that gets a lot of distance but handles snap really well and gets a reliable fade that is not a meathook. It has a comfortable feel in the hand for both forehand and backhand grips. This mold seems to be the perfect disc for creating a lot of different shot shapes. The Lucid plastic will last a really long time and it has a great feel.
Here is what Dynamic says about the mold: “The Sergeant is an excellent hybrid-style distance driver – like a faster Getaway or a slower Raider. It’s perfect for those shots that a fairway just won’t reach but you don’t want to power down on a distance driver. The Sergeant forms a bridge between fairway drivers and distance drivers with a comfortable rim for both backhands and forehands and enough stability to work out of a turn, but not so much that it will always dive left at the finish. Pick up a Sergeant and experience full command of your drives!”

I would give it a turn of -0.5 and a glide of 5. Bombs and fades reliably. Excellent overstable driver.

A Thunderbird with just a little more distance, money rim size, super accurate, all you could ever ask for in a hybrid driver!
I love the Lucid plastic. The Sergeant is exactly what I was looking for. A slower Raider. I’m hoping the Fuzion or BioFuzion plastics are a little less stable. Lucid seems to take a while to break in. Can’t wait to get a few seasoned and worked into the bag.

The Sergeant is exactly as described. It’s a slightly shorter Raider or a longer Getaway. Plastic feels great. Very controllable.
