Tiger Claws

Tiger Claws – The Claws is a disc from Yikun that has a feel very similar to a Polecat or a Glitch but with some ridges on the top of the flight plate like a traditional frisbee. This is a disc that is slow and perfect for all those touchy up shots that need to stick near the green. If you are looking to try a new fun disc from a relatively small company, then try the Yikun Discs Tiger Claws today!

Yikun says this about the mold: “It is the first ever made putter by Yikun and the only one who owns the Lines of Headrick among all other models. CLAWS has a vertical rim which losses certain speed and distance while gets excellent stabilities of linear flying and distance control. So that it can play its full power in tight trees and in short range approach. The thinnest rim provides a clean release which is suitable for biginners.”

  1. Real disc golf gangsters know what’s going on here. Like a previous reviewer said, these need to be run in premium plastic on a mass scale. I have a glow, I have a 167g tiger, and now I have two 180g tigers. This is the approach disc of dreams, BH and FH. Polecat, Sonic, Berg, whatever you want to compare it with, there is no comparison. This lid actually has meaningful HSS stability, and it will literally hit any line you want depending on your release angle, give or take an LSS turn/fade depending on the plastic and weight you are using. Go seek out a glow if you can. Next best thing is right here for cheap as hell. High weight, low weight, they all have uses. Try one for $10, you pansy.

  2. Slightly more overstable Polecat. Love it!

  3. Accurate approach disc (<150 ft for my newbie level throws) and putting disc all in one

  4. Interesting putter. Great for windy days, no lift.

  5. Really glad OTB stocked this gem. This disc is one of my favorite discs in my bag. Every utility putter I’ve tried (and I’ve tried them all) has led up to the Claws. This one is in the bag over them all. The stability of this disc makes it a very versatile thrower and a very useful approach disc. The kicker is the stability making this a thrower along with the obvious utility of a 1 speed sticking to the ground and not going too far. Throw it hard and flat and it will glide forever finishing on a gentle anny after gliding straight. Throw it on the anny and it will hold it and settle nice. Throw it on a hyzer and it will either pop up and glide straight or have a nice long hyzer line, depending on the speed. The Tiger Plastic (baseline) is the best I’ve felt of all the companies out there. It holds up and feels great. Last but not least, it’s a steal at 9 bucks. If you’re worried about the feel, I was too, it has a very quick adjustment time because you’ll really like throwing it and will get used to it quick. Nothing much to lose here and everything to gain. Try it out and if you don’t like it, just play catch with it. Hopefully they get the Glow Claws in stock eventually too. The stability on those is unmatched and the glow plastic feels great.
