K1 Kaxe Z – A fast, 6 speed midrange from Kastaplast. It has the feel of a midrange but with a more aggressive wing, that allows for fast speeds while still being really controllable. Very similar to it’s close relative the Kaxe, the Kaxe Z is straighter than the overstable counterpart. It is a beadless version of the Kaxe making it good for straight midrange/fairway shots that feels good both forehand and backhand. Available in all the plastics Kastaplast has to offer, you can slide a variety of different shots into your bag with just one mold. Kastaplast has this to say about the mold: “Just as with the original Kaxe we have called it a midrange driver, but it’s just as much a fairway driver. A multi-purpose disc. The Kaxe Z can handle a decent amount of speed and wind, but will also perform better than the typical driver when powered-down. With this disc we’re introducing the Z as in Zero, symbolizing less stability than the original mold.”

Super straight
K1 is only bested by Clash Tone plastic. This thing is fun. I’m still really confused on it being called a mid, though.
This disc expertly holds the line I throw it on. I drive with this disc regularly and can get it to go as far as some of my drivers. It s a great compliment to the Kaxe as well.

The K1 plastic feels great, and the mold fits my hand quite well. Very pleased with its flight, including its overstability.
