Raptor – Swirl ESP – Paul UlibarriCompare
Ulibarri Raptor – An awesome new mold from Discraft, the Raptor, gets a Ulibarri touch and some Swirl ESP panache! This is a great feeling Overstable Fairway/Distance Hybrid Driver with a very reliable flight.
Raptor – A brand new disc to the Discraft lineup, the Raptor has some nice excitement surrounding its release. It seems a lot of the top Discraft pros are bagging this as their Overstable Fairway/Distance Driver. With a Speed of 9, the Raptor, in our opinion, falls in between the true Fairway Driver slot and the maximum Distance Driver role. A very nice feel in the hand, this First Run Raptor is sure to make many a player comfortable on the teepad. The flight is Overstable but not near the far end of that spectrum. We tested the Z Line First Run the day before the 3/22/2019 release and found that it had a decent bit of Glide before it’s reliable Fade.
The Raptor can be closely compared to the Predator. The flight numbers match up perfectly, with the only exception being the Predator’s Fade of 4.
