FD2 – 3rd Tooling

(3 customer reviews)

FD2 – The FD2 has over gone some changes the past few years and Discmania is really happy with this newest tooling. It has a gorgeous flight that was first seen in the Royal Rage, now it is available in Discmanias C-line plastic. These discs have a great feel and the flight of the Royal Rage was absolutely money, we believe that these will be hot sellers and could be the main fairway in the bags of plenty of Discmania pros. Rumor has it that these are the closest Discmania has come to replicating the fabled 2nd-run FD, which is one of the most sought after discs Discmania has ever produced.

Here is what Discmania says about the mold: “The FD2 has the flight characteristics of a stable fairway driver, packed into the ergonomic format of a speed 7 rim. We also dialed down the glide a little so as not to fly past your target. The FD2 has plenty of stability and the fade can be adjusted with arm speed. The harder you throw, the longer it will stay straight before the fade kicks in. A lower launch speed gets you more tightly around near corners.”

Discmania finally got this one right. My new go-to fairway!

  2. John C. (verified owner)

Love the feel of these. A little stiffer than the RR and a little more overstable. Exactly what I was hoping that these would me

  3. Armando DeLaCerda (verified owner)

    Love the fair way driver
